Overview
I am both a doctoral student in Anthropology and an interdisciplinary doctoral fellow at the University of Virginia. My research combines archaeological and anthropological methods to discuss African-European interactions in West Africa over the last 500 years.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology at the University of Ibadan, where I collaborated with other researchers to investigate frontier dynamics at an early Atlantic-era settlement in southwestern Nigeria.
Beyond southwest Nigeria, I have participated in archaeological research in southeast Nigeria and the central region of Ghana. Currently, I am directing research in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
